I came across this on Hollywood Reporter:
Producer Neal Moritz is probably the key credit in "Torque," an action movie being rolled out by Warner Bros. Pictures in 2,463 theaters. Moritz is the name behind such pedal-to-the-metal actioners as "The Fast and the Furious," "XXX" and "S.W.A.T.," and the marketing behind "Torque," directed by first-time feature director Joseph Kahn, is aiming for the same high-octane feel.
The cast is headed by the New Zealand-born Martin Henderson ("The Ring"), who is on the run from gang leader Ice Cube, whose 2002 "Barbershop" was a solid hit. With its target on the black audience and its potential multiethnic crossover appeal, especially among young males, the biker picture should coast into the $14 million-$16 million range.
